MacMillan & Varia Lecto Seminar Invitation

Invitation

Macmillan and Varia Lecto have the pleasure of inviting you to the following seminar

Speaker: Teresa Doguelli*

Topic: And one more thing for English teachers......teach transferable skills for life!”

Despite teenagers getting a top class education at school, universities are finding students lacking in academic skills, and employers are finding applicants poorly equipped in ‘soft’ skills for the workplace. Where can students learn these transferable life skills before they fall at the first hurdle? In this session we can learn what these vital skills are and how English teachers in Frontisteria and State schools can help to get these skills in place and prepare their learners to face the unknown future forewarned and armed for success!

Date: Wednesday 16 March 2016

Time: 10.00 - 11.15

Venue: Varia Lecto, Omirou 50, Kolonaki, Athens

The seminar is free of charge but places must be reserved in advance.

To reserve a place, please call the Varia Lecto offices on 210-3234380 or send an e-mail to Chrisoula Potari at info@varialecto.gr.

NB. Seating space is limited and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Macmillan and Varia Lecto look forward to seeing you.
